Local plans and good practice

Communities across Scotland are coming together to get ready for all kinds of emergencies, some examples are detailed below. Why not Let us know if you or an organisation you are involved with have been working with the community to prepare for and respond to emergencies. 

Here are some examples of what's happening already, told in the words of those involved.

  • The Community and Business Resilience Team in Perth and Kinross celebrated winning the Perth and Kinross Council Securing the Future Award 2015 in the 'Working with Communities' category. Hear the back story here
